Network Marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. If you think that you are going to come into this business and get rich from signing people up for products only because they will get rich from it, you are sadly mistaken. Success in any business takes hard work and dedication.

 

• Choose Wisely - When you do decide to start a Network Marketing career, make sure you choose a company that is credible. The company should have products and services that consumers will want to use, or need. Make sure you research the company and use credible resources. Do not believe everything you read on the internet. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion about a company. Fact of the matter is, you should do your own due diligence. There are a lot of corporations that are failing and lying off people.

• Know your Target Market – Understand that the market you are trying to network with and the products and services must be what your target market want or need. It would be hard to sell Avon or Mary Kay to a bunch of guys on a college campus.

• Understand your compensation Plan – If it is the same as a Pyramid Scheme which is explained on the FTC.gov website, and then steer clear. I have noticed there are several IBO’s in network marketing who have poor communication skills and leave their business partners out to dry because they failed to explain the products, services and the compensation plan.

• Support System – Who is there to help you? Your upline should be available to assist whenever possible. How reliable is Customer Service and Management for the company? Use them to ask questions even if you know the answer.

• Become a Leader to your TEAM! – I cannot stress this enough. You are qualifying people to be on your team. You want them to either emulate you or be stronger leaders. Make sure you are doing your job and providing them with the necessary tools and information they need to be successful as well.

• Become a product of the Product – Make sure that you are an expert in the products and services you are promoting. If you are just pushing people to sign up for a membership or a business and you don’t use the products yourself, there is no integrity in that.

• Multiple Streams of Income – Wealthy people have multiple streams of income. Do not quit your job unless you can afford to.

• REFRAIN from spamming your friends your links. No one cares about your links and will block you or delete you. You can show them better than you can SPAM them.

• Most Importantly!!!! Do Not Qualify prospects who will not work as hard as you.
